• Email address (via Google OAuth or email sign-in)
• Display name or username you choose
• Pledge data (amounts, charities, timestamps, associated content)
• Screenshots and URLs you upload when creating pledges
• Community membership and activity

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain your account
• Display your pledges and activity publicly (if not anonymous)
• Generate pledge certificates and receipts
• Send important service notifications
• Improve the Service and develop new features
• Prevent fraud and enforce our terms

3. Google OAuth Data

When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture from Google. We do not access your Google contacts, emails, calendar, or any other Google services. We use this data solely for authentication and displaying your profile on the Service.

4. Cookies and Sessions

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Session data is stored securely and expires when you sign out or after a period of inactivity.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share aggregated, anonymized statistics (such as total pledges made) publicly. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and pledge history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days. Anonymized pledge data may be retained indefinitely for aggregate statistics.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Export your pledge history
• Opt out of non-essential communications

8. Children's Privacy

SpaceRaiser.org is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

10. Browser Extension

The SpaceRaiser.org browser extension is optional and privacy-minimal. It does not run in the background, monitor your browsing, track history, read keystrokes, or access other tabs.

It activates only when you click its toolbar button. At that moment it captures a screenshot of the currently visible tab and reads that page's canonical URL, then opens the SpaceRaiser.org pledge form pre-filled with them. That screenshot and URL are sent to SpaceRaiser.orgonly if you choose to submit a pledge, and are then handled exactly like screenshots and URLs you upload directly (see sections 1–6).

The extension requests the minimum permissions needed for this:

• activeTab — capture the current tab, and only when you click the button.
• scripting— read the current page's canonical URL and hand the capture to the pledge form.
• Host access limited to hatematch.org — to deliver the capture to the pledge form.
